Dr. Charles "Chuck" J. DePaolo is a graduate of the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. He received his BChE. at Georgia Institute of Technology. For several years, he was an engineer employed by Exxon Company, USA in New Orleans, La. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University and completed his internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis and residency in orthopedic surgery at the Campbell Clinic of Orthopedic Surgery in Memphis in 1992.

Dr. DePaolo has practiced medicine in Asheville for 16 years and specializes in Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstructive Surgery, and Shoulder, Hip, and Knee Surgery.

He and his wife, Sally, have three children, Jack, Sarah, and Stuart.
